1)  'Hundred' is one such interesting number (100) which does not  mean  at all. It is derived from the Old word "hundrath," which actually means 120 not 100.

2) Most of the persons know about the Pythagoras theorem. But did you know the fact about Pythagoras constant?  √ 2  i.e. 1.414 was the first rational number to be discovered which is known as the Pythagoras constant.

3) In Roman numerals there is no existence of Zero. 

4) I have a challenge to find a spelling of a number that obeys alphabetical order :

Forty is the only number which has spelling following alphabetical order. 

5) Four is only one number in the entire Hindu Arabic number system which can be spelled with the same number of letters as itself. 

6) All odd numbers has an 'e' in it. 

7) Thousand is the only number from 1 to 1000

that has 'a' letter in it. 

8) Let a group of 23 people who have comes to your birthday , there are 50% chances that two of them will share the same birthday. This is known as the birthday problem.

7) 9 is regarded as 'Magical number'.why ? :o

 

'Try yourself' - if you multiply a number by 9 and  count the sum of all digits of the output number it will give 9 . 

     5×9=45   or   4+5=9

     12×9=108 or 1+0+8=9      ...... Isn't amazing?! 

8) Everyone faced pie in which have valu 22/7.

March 14 is celebrated as pie day. 

9) There are seven colors in rainbow🌈, seven days in a week, seven notes on musical skill. So, seven is the most significant number in culture and region. 

10) 2 is only one even  number that is prime. 

11) The Fibonacci series are the numbers in the following integer sequence.

0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, ……..

12) Rhombus is the geometrical shape . you can find this shape perfectly in a baseball field. 

13) Take a yummy cake which you have to cut into 8 pieces using 3 cuts only. 

You need to make 1 cut in horizontal plane and another 2 in a vertical plane.

14) What comes after million, billion, and trillion? You can term the numbers after these terms as quadrillion, quintillion, sextillion, septillion, octillion, nonillion, and decillion.

15) If the sum of the digits is divisible by three, then the given number will also be divisible by three. This is known as the rule of divisibility of three.
